“Share
your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give
clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who
need your help. Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your
wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward, and
the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.”
Isaiah
58:7-8

Bringing
the light of Jesus to the hardest, darkest, and most forgotten
corners in the world continues to be the guiding mission of Elpis.
Unafraid of the dark places — believing His love has overcome it
all —Isabella’s heart is for the marginalized and most
vulnerable. Her focus is on children — especially, but not
exclusively, children who are victims of human trafficking. Her heart
is to partner with the global church, going wherever the Spirit
leads, bringing hope and passionately partaking in building God's
Kingdom.
But
let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing
stream!
Amos
5:24
Current
News on Elpis:
Inspite
of COVID setbacks, Isabella's faith is focused on righteousness and
justice reaching the dark corners of the globe. She is awaiting open
borders in Eastern Europe so she can pay her girls an in-person
visit. As she waits, she continues to pour into their lives via the
internet or phone contact. She’s been watching as three of them are
now reaching out and ministering the gospel of Jesus to their
surrounding villages during this pandemic.
This
has been a sweet season for Bella of embracing where God has her —
learning to be faithful in the here and now. She's using this time to
press into the Father's heart and to seek for creative and more
substantial ways to bring the light of Jesus to these broken and
hungry hearts.
With
a desire desire to be more effective in helping children in human
trafficking, she has been in touch with a number of different
ministries and individuals whose mission is specifically targeted to
reach this population. One such mission reaches out to sustain
survivors of human trafficking due to ISIS in Iraq. She has been
invited to train with them in November. She would appreciate prayer
for direction and to hear the heart of God for this crucial season.
